A concert for plants and humans who need to take a deep breathe and open their ears for a shimmering, subtle fluctuating architecture of sounds.

Carlo Mascolo, 30.04.1971, Italy. Improviser, Trombone player, Electroacuoustic Composer, Educator, Organizer. Carlo is an improvising musician with different skills and versatile languages in the main frame of the creative music. He is a founder of different music projects in the field of creative music, jazz, dub reggae and world music. Carlo recorded several albums in different styles of music even a solo prepared trombone called “My tubes”.
He is the artistic director of the international improvised music festival Free Flow Fest in Puglia and Basilicata ( Italy ) from 2012 to today.

Born in 1982
Studied piano and music pedagogy at Music University Vienna. There first contact with
contemporary music and free improvisation.
Workshops with with Manon-Lìu Winter, Burkhard Stangl, Franz Hautzinger and Ian Pace
Since 2003 active in the Viennese Free Improvisation-scene
Also international cooperation-projects with Paulo Chagas, Luís Vicente, Ernesto and Guilherme Rodrigues, the Brasilian composer and sound artist Marco Scarassatti.
